Hello and welcome to my website! I’m David Schlenk. I’m an extremely online dad and this is where I occasionally blog about things. I’m a husband, father and a software engineer. I live with my family and assorted animals, both living and stuffed, in a suburb of Minneapolis in Minnesota. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching baseball, reading, messing around with hobby electronics, and thrifting. I’m pictured here trying to stay warm in the software mines with my emotional support Santa Bear.

Besides my extremely occasional blog posts, you can also find evidence of my existence on various socials: on the bird website, I mostly post pictures of hymns, talk about Winnie the Pooh, retweet funny and encouraging things I find, and yell at the brands that have wronged me. Over on the gram, I post Canva-derived nonsense, often involving Wordle. I also have a face.
